Med Surg RN Job in Lander, WY

SH SAGEWEST HEALTH CARE is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Lander, WY. You will work 3x12 night shifts at $2,233.80 per week.

Your Role

You will provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical and surgical patients, including pre- and post-surgery care. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team
• Administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and intravenously; record all prescribed medications and report adverse reactions
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs accurately and timely
• Perform bedside procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV starts
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments
• Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education

Requirements

• Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to float between Lander and Riverton campuses based on facility census
• Occasional care for pediatric/adolescent patients as needed
