ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Treat patients of all ages and complaints in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department setting
• Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with 14 rooms and 17 beds, averaging 60 patient visits per day
• Block scheduling with every other weekend required
• 6 weekend shifts per 12-week contract
• 24 orientation hours required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work expectations apply if major holidays fall within assignment period
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required; also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
