OR RN Job in Selma, AL

Join SH Vaughan Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, offering $2,851 weekly pay.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call requirement: 7 days per month, including one weekend per month
• Call hours run from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM, spread throughout the month

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Work as an OR Circulator, managing supplies and ensuring cases run in a timely manner
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating patient care needs
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Provide care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
• Work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technicians, and other team members

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting
• OR Circulator experience with Endoscopy experience required
• OR specialties required: Endoscopy, Orthopedic, and General Surgery
• Alabama RN or multi-state RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• ENT and GYN experience
