RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Average 8-10 call shifts per month, inclusive of 1-2 weekends per month dependent on schedule
• Candidates must float as required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with specific experience in the Cath Lab; IR only experience not accepted
• Must have experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab
• First-time travelers accepted
• New York nursing license required in hand at time of submission
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement required
• Scrubs are provided
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Care for cardiac cath patients requiring diagnostic or interventional procedures and IR lab patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsies, and more
• Required skills include: Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Pacemaker/Defibrillator Lead Extraction/Removal, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Angioplasty, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Liver Biopsy, Paracentesis, Embolization, Nephrostomy, Renal Angiography, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Uterine Arterial Embolization, Chest Tube Placement, Lung Biopsy, Pulmonary Angiography, Pulmonary Embolization, Central Venous Access, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Endovascular Interventions, Stent Graft Placement, SVC/IVC Venograph, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, and Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
