Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Marietta, GA

Kennestone Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Vascular Institute. You will work in a dynamic IR and vascular hybrid interventional procedural environment, performing a wide variety of technical procedures while providing safe, age-appropriate patient care.

Schedule & Location

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (day shift)
• On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays
• 91-day travel assignment
• Marietta, Georgia

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with all department exams according to established procedures
• Set up imaging equipment and position patients for procedures
• Obtain quality diagnostic studies with proper knowledge and safety protocols
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative in equipment utilization for diagnosis and treatment
• Demonstrate competency in diagnostic radiology procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Apply understanding of anatomy and pathology to ensure procedure quality
• Function independently during procedures following appropriate orientation and competency validation
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written English

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• One or more of the following certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), CVRN-LVL 3, or RCIS (Registered CVI Specialist)
• BLS, BLS-I, or ARC-BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,960
