<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work full-time day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday<br>• Close early on Fridays with the extra hour made up during Monday through Thursday<br>• 40 hours per week guaranteed<br>• Outpatient position treating mainly orthopedic and some neurological patients<br>• Patient ratio of 1:1 with one patient every 45 minutes<br>• Assess, plan, evaluate and implement care for assigned physical therapy patients<br>• Gather pertinent data from charts and communicate with physicians as necessary<br>• Independently assess all assigned patient types<br>• Recognize additional needs during evaluation and exercise good judgment in decision making<br>• Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic and attainable goals<br>• Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policies<br>• Identify appropriate equipment and discuss with patients and families<br>• Doctorate degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required<br>• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas required<br>• BLS certification required (AHA only)<br>• Must adhere to all standards of Physical Therapy Practice Act</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that provides specialized outpatient physical therapy services.
