Med Surg RN Job in Salt Lake City, UT

You will work as an RN on a 34-bed Med Surg unit at St. Marks Hospital UT. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60
• You will float to other Med Surg units in-house as needed
• Four weekend shifts per schedule, rotating every other week (Friday and Saturday nights)
• On-call requirement twice during the contract

Unit Details

• 34-bed unit with a staff of 60
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• EMR system: Epic

Your Responsibilities

• Perform standard Med Surg nursing procedures including Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
• Use equipment including bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs monitor, and vein finder
• Maintain organized and flexible approach to daily tasks

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIH
• Basic Arrhythmia

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Charge experience
