ED RN Job in Weatherford, TX

Medical City Weatherford is seeking an RN for its Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week with every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• $1,708.20 weekly pay
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and one of the following: PALS, ENPC, TNCC, or NIHSS
• Meditech experience preferred

Role Details

You will work in a 23-bed emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include performing standard ED procedures, supporting Level IV trauma care, implementing primary stroke center protocols, and maintaining chest pain accreditation with 24/7 PCI (STEMI) capabilities. You will use the Meditech documentation system and standard ED equipment. Floating to other units as needed is part of this role.

Dress Code & Attendance

Royal blue scrubs are required, along with non-absorbent slip-resistant shoes. Maintain neat and clean hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Cover tattoos when possible and avoid visible piercings other than ears. No artificial nails are permitted. You must follow the company-wide attendance policy.
