Wound Care RN Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Wound Care position. You will work four 9-hour days per week from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. No weekend or holiday rotation is required.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and carry out wound care plans under the guidance of an NP who evaluates active patients at least weekly
• Perform inpatient and ED wound consultations
• Manage a patient ratio of 1 RN to 8 or 9 visits per day with CNA support
• Execute primary procedures including topical wound care, compression wraps, wound VACs, total contact casting, conservative sharp wound debridement, ostomy pouching system changes, and peristomal skin breakdown treatment
• Float to Howard Young Wound Clinic in Woodruff, WI as assigned
• May be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour call back requirement

Required Qualifications:

• RN license in Wisconsin or valid compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of wound care experience or current wound care certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• EPIC charting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Wound and ostomy certification

Dress code allows any color scrubs with closed-toed shoes. No fake nails or nail polish are permitted.

This is a 91-day assignment beginning October 19, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,741.
