Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with holiday rotation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Floating to sister facilities required - may be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
• 2 years of sterile processing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
• Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
• Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
• BLS not required
• Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, use of washers/sterilizers, and equipment documentation
• Patient age groups served: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
• Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
