PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Unit is a 30-bed Recovery Room
• Patient ratios of 1 RN to 2 patients, with 1 RN to 1 patient when required
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 12 nurses
• On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• EMR system used is Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
• Flexibility with hours preferred
• Perform and assist with typical PACU procedures including post-craniotomy and orthopedic recoveries
• Strong patient experience focus and ability to remain calm under pressure are highly valued
