About the Role

As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will manage pharmacy operations and patient medication therapy in a dynamic hospital setting. You'll utilize Meditech documentation systems and work with DoseEdge and Pyxis ES equipment to ensure safe and efficient medication dispensing and clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications according to physician orders and pharmacy protocols
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
• Collaborate with clinical teams in Trauma, Stroke, and Surgical Services
• Maintain detailed records using Meditech and other electronic health systems
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and healthcare staff

Requirements

• Active and in good standing Florida Pharmacist License
• 3 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
• Previous hospital experience mandatory
• BLS certification required
• Professional business casual dress code

Assignment Details

Start date: July 20, 2026. This is a nights position (2:00 PM – 12:30 AM) on a 4x10 schedule. You'll gain exposure to high-acuity services including Trauma, Stroke, and Surgical Services. The assignment runs for 91 days.
