Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Lamar, CO

Prowers Medical Center in Lamar, Colorado is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, earning $2,102.40 per week.

About the Role

You'll work as part of a therapy team under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Your responsibilities include implementing selected components of patient and client interventions, obtaining data related to treatments provided, and making modifications as directed by the supervising therapist. You'll treat individuals of all ages—from newborns to elderly patients—addressing a range of medical problems and health-related conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.

Requirements

• Current credential from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience (required)
• Outpatient experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current BLS certification verification card
• Ability to operate equipment, perform technical procedures, and communicate professionally
• Bilingual capabilities helpful
