RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3x12 shifts per week with holiday rotation
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Every other weekend requirement
• 12-week assignment duration
• Float within scope to like units as needed - agency floats first
• No on-call requirements
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cardiac and Neuro experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with post-cardiac surgery conditions
• Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
• Local candidates within 60-mile radius not accepted
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
