Cath Lab Technologist Job in Riverview, FL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at St. Josephs Hospital - South in Riverview, FL. You will work day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on a 4x10 schedule, with one week on-call followed by two weeks off rotation.

Role Overview

You will manage a daily caseload of approximately 25 cases per tech in a hybrid cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab. The call team consists of 2 RNs and 2 Techs covering both STEMI and IR cases. Your responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.

Procedures You'll Perform

• Balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, and thrombectomy
• Coil embolization and filter placement
• Pacemaker and defibrillator device placement
• Impella insertion
• Left and right heart catheterization
• Thoracentesis and peripheral procedures
• Upper and lower extremity studies

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Strong cardiac catheterization experience required
• Strong interventional radiology experience preferred
• Florida license
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and CCI credentials
• Must pass EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

What to Expect

This facility does not perform neuro cases or structural heart procedures. Royal blue scrubs are required. The facility is smoke-free.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,462.40
