CT Technologist Job in Marietta, GA

Kennestone Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for day shift work in Marietta, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel position starting June 3, 2026, offering weekly pay of $2,368.

Schedule and Responsibilities

• Work day shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Perform all CT exams according to department procedures with independent judgment
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Adjust technique to provide the lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history from patients
• Administer contrast media following established protocols
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment as needed
• Demonstrate proficiency with power injection loading and operation
• Maintain competency with venipuncture procedures
• Explain procedures to patients using AIDET communication methods
• Complete all studies in RIS before completing in PACS
• Transport and position patients on procedure tables
• Take call when necessary and maintain flexibility to meet department needs

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
• ARRT Radiography certification
• ARRT Computed Tomography certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• BLS Instructor certification
• BLS Provisional certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependability, accountability, and cooperative attitude
