ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (overtime billed after 48 hours on 4x12 schedule)
• Night shifts, weekdays, every other weekend required
• Float assignment - must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit and may be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held
• Holiday coverage required within contract
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3
• Strong neuro experience required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke)
• Must have skills in ventilator management, IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia and emergency management
• 3 years critical care experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less experience)
• Travel experience preferred
• Must be EPIC proficient - no exceptions
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association, NIHSS
• VA or Compact license required in hand at time of submittal
• Must pass EKG testing with 80% or higher (one attempt only, no remediation available)
• 3 hours of pre-start modules required (billable)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• No candidates with license or background hits will be accepted
• Facility cannot accommodate PAPR - no fit test issues accepted
• Care for patient populations including neurosurgical and post-stroke, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-surgical, trauma, sepsis and MODS, heart failure and post-cardiac cath
