Physical Therapist Job in Conroe, TX

You'll work as a Physical Therapist at HCA Houston Conroe, providing patient care across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units. This is a 13-week backfill position running Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct 7–8 patient evaluations per day in the acute care setting
• Manage 4–5 patients on the inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Perform patient evaluations and treatments using evidence-based protocols
• Float between acute care and inpatient rehab units as needed
• Work on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
• Document and communicate using the Meditech EMR system
• Treat diverse patient populations, including those in Med/Surg, Orthopedic, and inpatient rehabilitation settings

About the environment:

You'll work alongside 9 full-time Physical Therapists, 5 full-time Physical Therapy Assistants, and additional PRN support. The facility uses standard acute care and rehabilitation equipment. Navy blue scrubs are required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in physical therapy
• Acute care experience preferred (1 year ideal)
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred (1 year)
• Therapy degree required

Compensation:

You'll earn $2,044 weekly. The assignment begins April 13, 2026, for 91 days.
