Job Details:

• Work 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift
• Weekend requirements apply
• Holiday coverage required if staffing is needed
• No call or standby call requirements
• Must have BLS (AHA) certification
• Must have HT (Histotechnician) or HTL (Histotechnologist) certification through ASCP
• Minimum 2 years experience required, 3 years preferred
• Associates degree preferred
• Must be detailed oriented and experienced in routine histology procedures
• Perform embedding and microtomy procedures
• Experience with IHC, special stains, and digital pathology required
• Work with Epic Beaker LIS tracking system and EMR
• Utilize Roche equipment
• Professional colored scrubs required
• Department-specific orientation provided with organization orientation on day one and lab orientation on day two
• No self-scheduling permitted
• Must reside within 60-mile radius and provide driver's license
• Hospital cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
