Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job in Crescent City, CA

You will work as a Physical Therapist in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Sutter Health Coast Hospital in Crescent City, California. This is a full-time position with a 91-day duration, starting July 27, 2026. You will work five 8-hour shifts per week on a Friday through Tuesday schedule, with the ability to float between inpatient, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient settings as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
• Develop and update individualized patient Plans of Care (POC) based on evaluations, identified problems, and diagnosis
• Provide and progress treatment for patients per established plan of care and standards
• Complete and document patient evaluations, tests, and charge capture per established standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate patient care effectively with other care providers and support team members
• Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides
• Serve as clinical instructor for assigned students
• Perform general clerical tasks including answering phones, updating patient appointments, and retrieving or entering patient electronic health records (EHR)
• Participate in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe working environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Current California Physical Therapist License
• BLS Certification
• Preferred EHR system experience: Epic

You will earn $2,812.32 per week. This position offers the opportunity to work in a structured rehabilitative care environment while providing direct patient care and clinical mentorship.
