Ultrasound Technologist Job in Midland, TX

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. This is a full-time position working 5x8 days with weekly pay of $2,317.

Position Overview

You will perform ultrasound imaging across radiology and cardiology departments, serving patients from neonates through geriatrics. Your typical day includes approximately 30 patient visits. You will operate Samsung ultrasound equipment and work with PACS imaging systems in a Cerner environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct abdominal ultrasounds including gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, aorta, and appendix imaging
• Perform OB/GYN ultrasounds including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, fetal anatomical surveys, and high-risk obstetric imaging
• Execute renal, bladder, thyroid, prostate, and testicular/scrotal ultrasounds
• Perform vascular and superficial mass imaging, hernia assessment, and spine imaging
• Provide portable ultrasound services to ED, ICU, NICU, and PICU departments
• Support procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Work with isolation precautions and PPE as required

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS certification (AB, OB/GYN, and PS specialty certifications preferred)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Additional Information

Call and weekend coverage may be required depending on shift and department needs. Assignment begins September 28, 2026.
