PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at OU Health in Oklahoma City. This role offers a 3x12 night shift schedule over an 89-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,930.40.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver direct care to critically ill pediatric patients requiring intensive medical intervention and continuous monitoring
• Operate advanced pediatric monitoring equipment and technology to track patient status and detect changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when critical situations arise
• Support families during stressful periods by providing clear communication, reassurance, and emotional support in the intensive care setting
