Med Surg RN Job in Waterloo, Iowa

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week on a 12-hour schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a weekly pay rate of $2,187.90. Your assignment begins June 15, 2026.

Your Role:

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to patients across assigned units
• Monitor patient conditions closely and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain complete medical records
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed

Schedule Details:

• Night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule options include every other weekend or weekend coverage
• Holiday coverage required for Memorial Day and/or Fourth of July

You bring your RN license and experience in medical-surgical nursing.
