OR Circulator Job in Cape Girardeau, MO

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking an RN Circulator for the Operating Room in Cape Girardeau, MO. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026, offering competitive weekly pay of $2,102.40.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• On-call requirements average every 6–7 days with rotating weekend call
• Limited to 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6-week schedule
• Scheduled late shifts designated to stay late if needed

Role Responsibilities

You will serve as Circulating Nurse, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care while acting as patient advocate. You will support general and neuro surgery procedures, working with multiple case types including orthopedic surgeries (scopes and arthroplasty), urology, gynecology, and orthopedics.

Required Experience and Credentials

• 1+ years of neuro-specific OR experience
• Experience with general surgery cases
• Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Flexibility with various case types, strong work ethic, and team-oriented approach

Facility Requirements

• EMR system: EPIC
• Hospital-provided black scrubs required in the OR
• Flu vaccination required November 1–April 1 (client-approved exemptions available)
