Electrophysiology Technician Job in Peoria, IL

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist to join our EP Lab team in Peoria, Illinois. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 13, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday call from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The EP Lab operates 2 procedure rooms with a typical daily volume of 5 to 10 procedures. You will be part of a collaborative team of 5 technologists and 6 RNs supporting 4 electrophysiologists in this Level 1 Trauma, acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique
• Prepare examination areas and position patients appropriately for procedures
• Operate complex radiology equipment according to established techniques and protocols
• Pass materials and take exposures as directed by physicians
• Provide age-appropriate patient care
• Document patient information in EPIC charting system

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential as an EP Technologist or equivalent
• ARRT certification
• BLS Certification
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated

Compensation and Terms

You will receive $4,032 per week. A 12-hour cancellation notice is required per 13-week period.
