Job Details:

• Work alternating shift schedules: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM throughout the week depending on day and staffing needs
• May be scheduled for different shift times within the same week
• Block scheduling preferred but not guaranteed
• Call responsibilities required
• Must wear teal scrubs
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 3 years of OR experience required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Must have BLS and CNOR certifications
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• NY license required in hand to submit
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Floating to other units required
• Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required
• Experience needed in ortho-total joint and trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Extensive skills required including general OR, bariatric procedures, vascular surgeries, thoracic procedures, ENT, general surgery, gynecological procedures, spinal surgeries, orthopedic procedures, plastic surgery, podiatric procedures, and urological procedures
• Must be competent with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Knowledge of code response, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, and universal protocol procedures required
• Pre-start modules completed (billable up to 5 hours, total may reach 10 hours)
