Registered Nurse - Step down @ Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends
• No on-call requirements
• Provide comprehensive patient-family centered care in an 8-bed MST overflow unit
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult patients with daily census of 13
• Must have 1 year of Medical/Surgical Stepdown experience required
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• California RN licensure required at time of submission
• Skills required: Cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring on unit
• Epic charting experience preferred
• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• 50-mile travel requirement
• Must complete e-learning modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
