About this role
Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on a 24-bed medical surgical unit. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour weekly guarantee and earn $2,203.20 per week. The assignment is 91 days, starting June 22, 2026.
About the role: You'll provide care to adult patients on a unit with strong telemetry capabilities on all beds. This position requires strong neurology and cardiac assessment skills. You'll float to other medical surgical units and ICU when covering overflow, and may be assigned to any medical surgical unit as needed. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:6 during night shifts, based on acuity levels.
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- NIHSS certification
- PALS certification preferred
Unit details: You'll work with a team including telemetry technicians, charge nurses, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians. Respiratory therapists and pharmacy services are available 24/7. A hospitalist is in-house 24/7. The facility uses Allscripts (Sunrise) electronic medical record system. You'll perform IV procedures as no IV team is available. BSN degree is not required. Wear any color scrubs except all black; scrubs are not provided by the facility.
Assignment terms: 3 cancellations are allowed per 13-week assignment. Pediatric patients are assigned to permanent staff only.
