Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Deliver pharmaceutical care through patient-centered clinical service, medication information, education, medication preparation, and distribution
• Ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy for patients
• Exercise sound clinical judgment to provide input and implement patient care plans based on diagnosis in a timely manner
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• May be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orienting other staff to the department
• Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Shift schedule: 4x10 and 5x8 variable shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Candidates who have completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program are preferred
• PharmD or Registered Pharmacist license required
• Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required unless otherwise stated
