Operating Room RN Job in Aurora, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Aurora as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This 91-day travel assignment runs 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, with a start date of July 13, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in 11 operating rooms with a 2:1 patient ratio, supporting a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, orthopedic, gynecologic, and robotic-assisted cases. You will operate the Meditech EMR system and work with standard OR equipment and instrumentation.

Schedule and On-Call

Your primary commitment is three 12-hour day shifts per week. Call requirements include 1–2 nights per week and 1–2 weekend call shifts per month. Night shifts are staffed with one in-house charge nurse, one tech, plus on-call trauma, neuro, and heart teams.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital OR experience
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Meditech experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred and given priority
• Precepting experience preferred

Compensation
