Emergency Department RN Job in Utica, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department position at MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY. This is a travel assignment with a contract duration of 89 days, starting July 13, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours each, 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Weekly Pay: $2,457.18
• Facility: 64-bed emergency department with acute care, trauma, triage, and psychiatric areas

Requirements

• Current New York RN license with NURSYS verification
• Minimum 3+ years Emergency Department experience with some pediatric experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required

Your Role

You will care for patients from newborn through geriatric populations, managing common emergency diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. You will operate specialty equipment such as rapid infusors and Arctic Sun devices, administer complex drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications. Floating to other units is required as part of this role.

Travel Information

You must live at least 75 miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate, or local candidates are accepted at the local rate. Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed.
