Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• 1+ year of Stepdown experience required
• Proficiency in Cardiac required
• Travel experience required
• EKG comfortability required
• Must be willing to float to similar units
• Every other weekend schedule required
• On-call possible
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Use clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions
• Care for cardiology patients undergoing procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
• Support open heart surgery patients during post-operative care (18-24 hours post-op)
• Provide specialized care for patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
• Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
