Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 10:45 AM to 8:45 PM
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour days
• On-call availability required as needed
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics such as age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods including bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact), BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
• Less than 1 year of experience accepted with completion of accredited nursing program and requisite clinical hours
• Must possess strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive and composed manner
