Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work in a 7-bed operating room unit on the 1st floor of the main building
• Rooms staffed with 1 tech and 1 RN, or 2 RNs with a 1:1 patient ratio
• On-call required for 1-2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period
• Rotating weekends are a possibility
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate across all service lines
• Perform and assist with joint replacement, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery procedures
• Utilize robotics, spine, and vascular equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Must be proficient in charting, multi-tasking, critical thinking, and maintaining excellent bedside manner
• OR scrubs provided by the unit
• Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting required
• Orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement experience required, including knee and hip replacements
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, CNOR
• Charge experience preferred
