Physical Therapist Job in Rockville, MD

Join AHC Rockville Rehab as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026, offering a structured 5x8 day schedule working Tuesday through Saturday.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services to a 55-bed facility with a daily census of 47 patients
• Perform gait training, mobility assessment, and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family education
• Work with diverse patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical cases
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 on weekdays and 1:3 on weekends

Schedule and Flexibility

• No floating between units required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling accommodations available
• One pre-approved time off during the assignment
• Quarterly weekend requirement with corresponding weekday off

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience (first-time travelers)
• Current BLS certification
• Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
• Tobacco-free status required with nicotine drug screening upon hire

Onboarding and Compliance

• 24-hour orientation period
• Complete non-billable educational modules averaging 4–6 hours during orientation and annually

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,160
