ICU RN Job in Plano, TX

Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• ICU/CCU unit with 36 CCU beds and 30 Burn Trauma ICU beds
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Supervisor on every shift with PCT support
• Perform procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions
• Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Floating policy as needed
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU specialty experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN, TCRN
• Active RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• No artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails permitted
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
