Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift schedule
• Weekend call obligations Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (negotiable for contract staff)
• No on-call responsibilities during weekday shifts
• Over 1 year of experience required
• Must be able to perform breast, general, OB, and vascular ultrasounds
• Echocardiogram experience highly preferred
• Patient population includes outpatients, acute care patients, and emergency department patients
• Exams include general, vascular, fetal, OB, breast, and echocardiology
• All images sent to PACS for interpretation - no radiologist on site
• Experience with Meditech charting system required
• Experience with Philips equipment required - facility utilizes a Philips Epic with cardiac package
• Currently transitioning from Ultralinq cardiac PACS to Philips ISCV system for echo PACS
• 1 scan room, 1 machine, and 1 tech per shift
• All techs perform echoes as well as general and vascular procedures
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA only accepted)
• Community hospital experience preferred
