About this role
Wesley Rehabilitation Center is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week at $1,708.20 weekly. Assignment begins July 20, 2026.
Role Overview
You will provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. Your responsibilities include conducting head-to-toe assessments, administering medications and intravenous antibiotics, performing lab draws, and managing blood administration as ordered. You will perform wound vac dressing changes, use iSTAT and glucometers, and administer inhalers and breathing treatments. You will assist the interdisciplinary team in implementing and monitoring rehabilitation care plans, educate patients and family members on their care and rehabilitation programs, and serve as a patient advocate.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- CRRN certification
- ACLS certification
- Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings
- Airstrip telemetry competency for telemetry patients
Systems and Environment
You will use the Meditech EMR system, operate patient lifts, and manage telemetry equipment. This is a post-acute rehabilitation setting where you will collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to support patient recovery and functional improvement.
