Job Details:

• Work day shifts on Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• 36 hours per week with overtime after 40 hours at 1.5x rate
• 13-week initial assignment with ASAP start date
• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, urinalysis, coagulation, and serology
• Work independently during shifts ensuring accurate and timely results
• Analyze, verify, and report test results including critical values
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing as needed
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Perform and document quality control procedures
• Utilize Laboratory Information System (LIS) for documentation and reporting
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Minimum 2+ years of recent hospital laboratory experience required
• Strong generalist experience across multiple lab disciplines required
• ASCP (MLS/MT) or AMT certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field with completed clinical training required
• Must be comfortable working independently and floating within scope including phlebotomy
• No on-call requirements but holidays may be required if falling within scheduled shift
