Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Scrub and circulate in the CVOR setting with the ability to work other specialties as needed
• Variable and rotating shifts based on need with start times at 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, or 1:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 3-4 times per month with a 30-minute report time
• Rotating weekend call and holiday coverage required with at least 1 weekend on-call per month
• No float required
• Scrubs provided
• Circulate experience is required; must be versatile and experienced in circulating for orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries performed independently
• Scrub experience preferred but not required
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of the rotation pool
• Minimum 4-5 years of OR RN or combined OR experience required
• Active RN license required with copy of NURSYS
• Active Connecticut RN license required upon start
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS
