Med Surg RN Job in Carlsbad, NM

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Med Surg, starting June 29, 2026. You will work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $1,782 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide general skilled nursing care on a 15-bed Med Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:8. Floating within scope of practice and clinical competency to Rehab and Med Surg units is required. Call is required with a varying schedule; on-call occurs only for census flex prior to your scheduled shift if census is low.

Key Requirements

• Current RN license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year experience; 2+ years preferred
• BLS certification
• Fingerprint process registration with the State of New Mexico

Assignment Terms
