ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with schedule options of 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM or 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• May occasionally work 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM to fill in as needed
• Variable shifts including noon to midnight or night shift with no turnarounds
• Will work every third weekend
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an ER setting required
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or compact state
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be issued through American Heart Association)
• Experience with blood draws preferred as RN may need to draw blood in trauma situations
• See patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric population with common diagnoses including abdominal pain, nausea, chest pain, car accidents, slip and falls, and farm accidents
• Transport patients to larger medical centers if critical care is needed
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Reliable personal transportation required as ride-sharing services are not available in the area
• Skills checklist completed within one year of submittal required
• Two professional supervisor references from work history within the past three years required
