<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Radiologic Technologist - Radiologic Technologist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Monday through Friday with two schedule options: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM<br>• Must have fluoroscopy experience<br>• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all aspects of General Diagnostic Radiology<br>• Perform quality radiographic images on a consistent and ongoing basis<br>• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant patient history for examination orders<br>• Verify pregnancy status before administering ionizing radiation<br>• Assess patient physical condition and develop action plans for performing examinations<br>• Use RIS, CIS, PACS and SMS systems effectively to access information and document procedures<br>• Ensure patient demographic information, emulsion markers, and examination requests are correct<br>• Critique, orient and save all pertinent images and transmit QA-ed images to PACS<br>• Maintain image management equipment and report any equipment problems<br>• Maintain a clean and safe work environment<br>• Required certifications: ARRT Certified in Radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider<br>• Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually<br>• Required education: Accredited Associate&#39;s Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization is a comprehensive academic medical center that provides advanced diagnostic imaging services as part of their commitment to quality patient care.
