PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Join Grady Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide intermediate-level care to patients in a 16-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio, delivering skilled nursing in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor and administer Heparin drips and other medications
• Provide direct patient care for conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
• Assess patient acuity and respond to changing clinical needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
• Document care and maintain accurate medical records

• Schedule: 4 shifts per week

• Weekly Pay: $2,463.66

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

This role offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills in progressive care, working with patients requiring closer monitoring than traditional med-surg units but who do not require intensive care. You will be part of a supportive team at a major teaching hospital.
