MRI Technologist Job in Des Moines, IA

UnityPoint – Iowa Methodist Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Des Moines, IA. You'll work day shifts and earn $2,995.20 weekly, with an assignment start date of November 23, 2026.

About the Role

You will operate Siemens and GE MRI equipment while providing care to Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient populations. Your responsibilities include administering power injection contrast injections and drips. You may be required to float across all campuses and will follow an on-call schedule that includes one weeknight (Sunday through Thursday) and one weekend day (Friday or Saturday) every 10th weekend. Weekend scheduling is assigned as needed. You are required to work 1–2 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed.

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of MRI experience
• Strong proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment
• Strong proficiency with GE MRI equipment
• ARMRIT certificate or ARRT/American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate (R)(MR)
• Level II Trauma experience
• Current or recent hospital experience
• Valid driver's license
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months
• Skills checklist specific to MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I Trauma experience
• EPIC or EPIC Radiant experience
• Travel healthcare experience
