Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision
• Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray
• Position patients and use radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician
• Accurately perform all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
• Ensure the physician on duty is notified of results
• Give straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients
• Ensure the needs of individual patients are met
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of X-ray experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred
