Pharmacy Technician Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract position. You will work 40 guaranteed hours per week on a 4x10 day shift schedule, with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Every other weekend and every other holiday attendance is required. There are no on-call, callback, or float requirements.

Your responsibilities will include central pharmacy operations, decentralized delivery and stocking of Omnicell medication dispensing systems, and IV room support depending on your skill set and experience. You will work in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment using Epic charting systems daily.

Required qualifications:

• Wisconsin State Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB or similar certification
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Epic charting experience (strict requirement)
• Previous experience with Omnicell medication dispensing systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Kit Check experience
• Pharmacy Keeper experience
