Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts in an acute care setting
• Perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) and autonomic studies on patients undergoing testing of the peripheral and autonomic nervous system (ANS)
• Conduct studies and work closely with physicians in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Apply background knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, neuromuscular junction, muscles, and autonomic nerves
• Chart using EPIC electronic health records system
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius and provide a valid Driver's License upon submission
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS.T) via AAET
• Registry by American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) required
