Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with typical start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:30 AM
• Weekend and call rotation included in scheduling
• No on-call or standby requirements beyond rotation
• No holiday requirements
• Perform routine, stroke, and trauma MRI studies
• Average 25-30 scans/studies per day
• Responsibilities include patient transport, clerical duties, patient prep, safety screening, scanning, starting IVs, and EMR navigation/documentation
• Work with GE MRI equipment in a 2-scanner/room department
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Radiologist available in-house except after hours
• Charting system: EPIC; PACS system: McKesson
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required; GE experience preferred
• MRI certification required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR)
• Active Illinois license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Professional scrubs in any color required; scrubs are not provided
• Tattoos must be covered; no body piercings besides earrings permitted
