X-Ray Technician Job in Moses Lake, WA

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment in Moses Lake, WA. You will work 4x10 shifts on days, earning $2,601 weekly, with a start date of September 28, 2026.

Your Role:

You will perform a full range of diagnostic radiography exams safely and accurately to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Utilize automatic exposure control and technical factors including kVp, mA, time, and distance
• Select appropriate cassettes, collimation, and tomographic factors
• Assist attending physicians during exams
• Image and identify appropriate body parts, acquire correct views, and employ immobilization techniques
• Practice good sterile and infection control techniques
• Safely transport, transfer, and position patients while evaluating their mental and physical condition
• Follow hospital, departmental, and examination protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and perform quality assurance on films and equipment
• Schedule examinations and review daily scheduled exams for corrections, additions, and cancellations
• Ensure completion of exams including Teleradiology of films
• Perform necessary paperwork and archiving
• Handle confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Physical Requirements:

Occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent and prolonged standing and walking, and the ability to lift, position, push, and transfer patients as needed. You will push, pull, or move heavy equipment as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification RT(R)
• ARRT(R) registration
• CPR certification at Healthcare Provider (HCP) level
• Enrollment in or completion of an ARRT-approved program
• Demonstrated competency on department-specific equipment checklist
• Professional appearance and conduct consistent with organizational standards

Up to 24 hours of call-off availability may be required during your assignment.
